I wanted to get our Bride’s and Groom’s thinking about trendy boutonniere ideas. I love unique designs that take the wedding photos to a whole new level. Forget the idea that your boutonnieres need to be a single rose with a touch of baby’s breath or every Bout needs to be the same. It should be desigined to perfectly complement the Brides bouquet. Another varying design is used for the Groomsmen and yet another for the Fathers. These varying styles make for stunning group photos.
Never be afraid to ask your floral designer to up the ante with these small but important elements of your wedding. They understand the importance of these small time consuming details. Think about elements you love and have incorporated into your wedding design. The smaller the detail the better when it comes to these miniature creations. My latest love is the brooch boutonniere I created to match a Bride’s bouquet. Black feather with a silver brooch with a touch of hot pink to match the Bride’s bouquet. It was love at first sight for me and yes the Groom loved it too!
Grace Ormonde Wedding Style always features some really incredible boutonnieres in her magazine. Remember…it’s all about the details! Share your favorite boutonniere details with our readers.

Last but not least, the pinning of the boutonniere. Always pin from the back of the lapel so no pins are visible holding the floral. Two pins crossed in the back add extra security and remember to pink up high one heavy boutonnieres so they do not fall as the day wears on/
