Lindsay and Steve were married on August 7, 2010 at beautiful Deerhurst Resort in Huntsville. Photography was shot in stunning detail by Stacey Wight Photogprahy. If you have been following Stacey over the past couple of years you will know how she loves Muskoka weddings as much as our team! It was a beautiful day in Muskoka with fabulous weather.

Lindsay and Steve travelled from the U.S. to have their wedding in Muskoka. Lindsay is completing her Doctorate and Steve is an NHL Hockey Player. Lindsay’s Mother Maribeth played a large role in collecting brooches and working on details at our studio. I am so lucky to work with such amazing Mothers! Visit our gallery for more images.

Lindsay choose a vintage lace dress and we matched the ceremony panels on the gazebo the the lace dress accents.

Lindsay had two bouquets made to carry. The first was made of all antinque vintage brooches and the second a beautiful selection of floral. The brooch bouquet was created for Wed Luxe Magazine shoot and passed on to the beautiful bride to carry. Lindsay and her Mother had so much fun collecting all these brooches. We used them to tie into so many accents of the design.

I was equally in love with the vintage bouquet of dahalia, off white roses, anenome, berries natural accents and fern, Bouquet was designed in blush, peach and orange with touches of white. Trailing cascading greenery complemented the design.

All Boutonnières were designed in feather, pearl and natural branch accent. Love this non traditional idea!

I love it when the Dude’s just have to take an upclose on our floral design!

The ceremony took place at the waterfront Gazebo at Deerhurst Resort. Sheer curtains with antique lace edging were draped on gazebo for softeness. The view from this ceremony site is always inspiring.

An antique frame directed guests to their tables.

Guest tables were covered in mocha satin linen and centerpieces were designed in a mixture of vibrant florals with brooch accents.

The beautiful cake was designed by Lori Hutchinson of The Caketress.

Tones of candles cover the head table adorned with lace table linen with ruched taupe covers, amber candles and chocolate brown charger plates.

Muskoka memories were made as Amie and Jeremy wed at their cottage on Lake Joseph in Huntsville. The weather had forecasted a rainy day and the ceremony was scheduled on the dock rain or shine! The weather turned beautiful in the afternoon and the sun shone off the water as guests arrived by boat. The ceremony took place on the dock with an amazing view of Lake Joesph. It was very meaningful for the Bride and her family to hold the marraige at this location. Jessica and our planning team learned that climbing that many stairs to the cottage from the dock with wooden chairs is exhausting! The Bride and Groom boated to the reception, which followed at Deerhurst Resort in the Penninsula Dining Room. An ice martini bar, black and white linen and hot pink tones of flowers created a stunning reception room. Beautiful images were shot by Jose Paolo Photography.
